I Want it a Texan for a while, finally decided to get the ARF Kit from Kyosho. Was put together a laisurely pace, first the wing as usual, with Hobbico mechanical retracts and a couple of Futaba servos for the ailerons and a Hobbbico retract servo. The plane has been having its ground tests done and I had to align wheels, take several inches of the extensions since they where acting as garbage antennas and droping to much voltage on the aleiron control servos now they work fine at least on the shop.

Here are some pictures of the finished Plane.

The Engine used isn OS .46 FX, Futaba Servos, Hobbico retracts.

Hi Guys, Finally this plane took to the air (May 29/2005), a pre flight balance was done and 6 and 1/4 oz of lead where wrap around the nose temporarily, while I find a way of putting the weight permanently.

I have now put the weights in a nice way on the nose of the plane, flat tire balancing weights were glued on the firewall and engine support bracket.A total of 5 1/4 oz where left since thery were moved a bit forward from where they were tested.(June 2,2005)

O S 46 FX

The AT - 6 Flew great, docile floated great, it track great and straight. Made 2 flights of 10 and 12 minutes.

It flew in formation with Guillos's At 6 from Great Planes at the field.

Hi Guys On Sunday the 12 th of June I Crashed thsi Plane, I put a bit to much elevator before having good rotation speed

the plane diped the left wing and cartwheeled into the ground, the wing bolts did not break, but the whole assembly broke of the fusselage's wing sadle, and some of the fusselage also broke.

I have remade the retracts from hobbico with aluminun blocks instead of the platics part that came originally this will withstand more abuse and paved runway. The palne is still flying well and will probably go into sanding and repainting some time during th secon half of the year. Its a fun plane to fly and do very low passes (1 to 2 feet) over the runway.
