Update June 2006
This plane I bought from Michael who had bought in 2001 , I took the unopened box to Barranquilla where I proceded to put it together.
I first put together the wings, which I modified by taking away the dihedral angle so as to make the plane more realistic, two servos where installed one for each aleron.
Then the rest of the fuselage and tail feathers where put together, on the upper part of the vertical fin, a wall screw insert was used as a tied down for the antenna lead which worked fine during flight.
The engine choosen for this plane is a GMS 2000 .60, which was bought to find out how good it was. The installation of it was a bit complicated but finally acomplished, that is together with the cowling. I broke the engine with normal fuel and the neddle a bit on the open side. The engine has lots of power with an 8 x 10 master airscrew propeller.
I put together a Hobbico flight box , which was later painted by my wife Sandra and Aryeh, notice the flying hearts, this has brought a lot of funny comments at the flying field.
Augost Pictures Flying Well in Barranquilla
This pLane lost its wings on high wind and came down like a rocket breaking all of the front half of plane and engine block and carburetor, so a new Arf kit was ordered and only the fuselage has been used and some of the new hardware the rest is the old wing and a new GMS engine that i had stored somewhere. So the old wings are flying again and have taken aloft the new aiptek camera allready.
Next a camera will be attached somewhere on the fuselage , lets see what aerial pothography is...
